Community Engaged Rural Learning Initiative (CERLI)
CERLI started at an Alberta Rural Development Network (ARDN) conference when a small group of people realized that there was value in working together to bring students into Alberta's rural communities. The key to the idea was the potential for students to mine experience and knowledge from rural communities.

Call For Proposals - Foreign Qualification Recognition (FQR) Innovation Fund
 The FQR Innovation Fund is being offered to assist Alberta employers to recruit, integrate, retain & develop workers with foreign-earned education, skills and experience who are already in the province. The deadline for proposal submissions is just around the corner (Thursday, August 9th). If your business is currently planning an employment initiative of this nature, you are strongly encouraged to apply directly for funding.
