Trinity Pension Consultants is pleased to announce the hiring of Beth Cecconi as a Defined Benefit Relationship Manager. Cecconi will be responsible for all aspects of client service related to defined benefit (DB) plans. She will work with everyone involved in DB plans, including plan sponsors, financial advisors, accountants, auditors and attorneys.
This is a new position within the company, and was created for two reasons. First, Trinity partner Kevin Bergdorf has moved to Columbus to manage the company's new office, generating a need for a new role in Akron. Second, Trinity continues to bring on a substantial number of new DB plans each year, making it necessary to hire someone whose sole focus is to maintain those relationships.
"Beth brings a tremendous amount of experience and professionalism to our firm," said Anthony Warren, principal, Trinity Pension Consultants. "She is already well known by the financial advisor community, has experience with cash balance plans, and she has a good understanding of what a third-party administrator needs to do in order to make a difference with advisors and plan sponsors."
Cecconi has 21 years of experience in the financial services industry, 13 of those spent exclusively in qualified retirement plans. Prior to joining Trinity, she was a business development specialist at Rehmann. She began her career at Huntington Bank, and also spent time as an advisor for Chapman and Chapman.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
"My number one goal is client retention," Cecconi said. "I will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with Trinity's referral sources by exceeding their expectations.
