From Our Superintendent, Merida Brooks
In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; in the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch. Psalm 5:3 It is an incredible thing to even type 2012! Behold, we are in the "morning" of another year granted to us by Father God to grow in His grace, to walk in His ways and to invest in His purposes on the earth! At Westminster Christian Academy we rejoice in the opportunity to once again invest in the lives of this generation for another 365 days, of which five have already been spent! Teach us to number our days, so that we may present to You a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12 O, Father, grant to us wisdom to walk in Your ways, to surrender to Your will, to be spent for Your purposes and to see every day from an eternal purpose. This I recall to mind, therefore, I have hope. The Lord's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. Lam. 3:21-23 We rejoice in God's faithfulness to meet every challenge with His grace, every opportunity with His enabling power, every heart break with His comfort, every need with His provision, every doubt with His truth, every question with His understanding, and every relationship with His purposes. Oh, may we receive all that He will do within each of us in 2012 as we say, "not my will, but Your will be done!" His! Merida Brooks Superintendent |
