Cost: $10 Members/$15 Prospective Members
Join the Monterey Peninsula and Pacific Grove Chambers in celebrating the 40thAnniversary of Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula at the Sally Griffin Active Living Center! This fun-filled mixer will feature live music, Wii bowling, golf putting, and a farmer's market area, along with refreshments catered by Chef Dory Ford, Meals on Wheels board member and owner of Aqua Terra Culinary at Pt. Pinos Grill.
Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula has been providing nutritious, home-delivered meals to residents who are unable to shop or cook for themselves for the past 40 years in addition to serving meals at five congregate sites throughout the Monterey Peninsula. The facility is the hub of activities, with a myriad of programs and services for Seniors throughout the Monterey Peninsula. Meals on Wheels has recently launched the "Save our Breakfast Campaign" to raise funds needed to continue providing breakfast to home-bound clients.
