MPCC's 25th Annual Business Excellence Awards will be held on July 28 from 6-10pm at the Monterey Conference Center. Sponsored by First National Bank, this prestigious and popular event, is designed to increase public awareness of the vital role business plays on the Central Coast and to honor those businesses that have achieved excellence in their field.
In past years, the winners in each category were chosen by an independent panel of local business leaders. However, this year the Chamber has decided to get the local community more involved in the judging process - the first round of voting will be open to the public (so make sure you encourage your customers to vote!), and the final round open to all MPCC members.
THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO VOTE: (please choose only one) - Keep an eye out for the ballot to be published in the
Monterey County Herald on Monday, June 6. Please note that only original ballots will be accepted (no copies).
- From Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 17, you can also vote online at www.mpcc.com.
Based on the results of the first round, a second ballot will be mailed out to Chamber members at the beginning of July listing the top three finalists in each category, and members can vote for one business per category. All finalists will be recognized at the July 28 event as well as in local media. The winner in each category, in addition to being honored at the event, will automatically become a finalist for the Business of the Year Award, presented at MPCC's Annual Awards Dinner in 2012. |
