QUICK LINKS

e

I have been involved with Cycle for Survival since it's inception.Very sadly, this will be the first without my dear friend, and founder of the event, Jen Goodman Linn. After seven years of battling her disease, she passed away in July. I will continue to cycle until Jen's dream, of a world where Cycle for Survival is no longer needed, is realized.

At the age of 33, when Jen was diagnosed with sarcoma she chose to face it head on. When given a 50/50 chance she did not give up. Instead she did something extraordinary. She and her husband Dave started Cycle for Survival the most successful patient-led fund raising event in the 125-year history of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. What began modestly as a grass-roots event in 2007 has evolved into one of the fastest growing charity events in the country today.
In just six years, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $12 million for research on rare and underfunded cancers. During the same six years, Jen endured six intense surgeries, 20 different types of  chemotherapy and incredible amounts of pain. Her focus, strength, courage and determination never wavered and were awe inspiring.
