Our May legal seminars were well attended by Directors representing communities with non- completed construction and communities still grappling with foreclosure issues. Insurance- Is your Association Covered Properly?
Condominium owners sometimes assume that the association's master insurance policy is all the coverage they need. The master policy actually only covers the building, not your personal belongings, or any upgrades you've made to your unit. One of the biggest hurdles an association may have to leap is when a disaster strikes and the board must sort out who is responsible for what.
The topic of this month's Blog entry is insurance. After the recent flooding in the Genessee County area in May our office was thrown through a crash course on insurance issues. It was pretty timely as our next seminar deals directly with this issue. Click here for seminar details
