Greetings!

Welcome back everyone who left for the winter months! We are excited to be busy again with your Association's goals for 2012.

A special congratulations to Brian Bushey and Sean Gartland for completing their CMCA certification in March. Both now hold the accreditation of Certified Manager of Community Associations. The CMCA is the only national certification program designed exclusively for managers of homeowner and condominium associations and cooperatives.

Promoting Community Harmony

We've covered a lot of the basics around governance and finances in the past newsletters and seminars. I have a great report to share with you, Best Practice Report on Community Harmony and Spirit is all about how to make your community a better place to live for the current residents and prospective home buyers.

When you make the community more attractive to potential home purchasers this raises property values for everyone in the community. It is much more enjoyable serving on a Board as well as living in a community where people respect and enjoy each others company.

In June, Cummings will be hosting a long format seminar on community planning. This seminar would be a great forum to begin the conversation.
Community Planning for Your Condo Association

I look forward to seeing many of you at an upcoming seminar. Please keep in mind that we are still taking volunteers for our Community Spotlight section of the newsletter. We would love to help you share your thoughts on any accomplishments that your community has experienced or disasters that you have overcome. Please e-mail me for details.
Sincerely,
