You, Your Condo, and Your Insurance |

September 29, 2010 takes us to Brighton where we are hoping to see all our community members from Fenton, Howell, Highland and Brighton join us for this informative session.
We will be exploring the interplay between the Master Insurance policy, the unit owners condominium policy (H-06) and the repair and reconstruction options following a loss.
If you bring a friend who lives in a community association not currently managed by CPM,
be sure to notify us that evening. We have a special "thank you" gift for you.
Please visit our event page for this seminar and register online. We strongly encourage you to bring a friend along.

Kay's Blog |
Please check out our blog entry Fall Preparations. This month's topic is a listing of ideas for Fall gardening tips. I focused on the tasks that need to be completed now that the cooler weather is settling in.
You can also find a link to print your own copy of Green Communities, a downloadable publication by Community Association Institute. Too often the most important element to achieve major change is hiding in plain site as is noted in this publication. Begin your Green initiative at your complex and allow us to publish your results in future newsletters. I encourage you all to take a moment every now and then to check in on the latest submission. I will be doing my best to keep it brief and informative. As always, it will be of interest to fellow condo owners. |

Fundraising for Food Bank of Eastern Michigan |
The Annual Meeting Food Bank donation program has gotten off to a wonderful start. The combined contributions from Fairways of Lapeer and Hillside Meadows have provided over $12,600 of food purchases for the Eastern Food Bank and affiliated Michigan Food Distribution Centers. The need is high and your generosity represents your strong sense of community responsibility. Please keep this important fundraiser in mind as your annual meeting approaches.
