A GREAT fishing day for Daniel Langguth
|
Daniel Langguth's (Palatine, IL) goal for his first trip to Duck Bay Lodge was to catch a northern pike. Shortly after arriving, his mom Kristen caught a 32 inch northern right off the dock.
But Daniel did even better than that. On the last day of his trip, Daniel (pictured with guide Chris) caught this fabulous 50 inch muskie, Daniel's first muskie ever. It gave quite a fight and almost pulled him out of the boat. Dad Mark had to hold on to him until he landed it. It was the day before his 14th birthday, so made a tremendous birthday gift.

A GREAT fishing day for Brett Knutson
|
When Brett Knutson (Union Grove, WI) and dad Jeff arrived at Duck Bay for their fishing trip, Brett said it was his goal to catch some of our northern species such as walleye and northern pike. He had never caught these before, mostly fishing at home for bass and pan fish.
His first northern pike was around 22 inches and then a short while later he caught this beautiful 34 inch northern. And also went on to catch a number of others that same day. Dad Jeff did well and caught a 36 inch.
They've already reserved for next summer, so Brett will be looking to do even better!
