Want to know what is new?

Kari Lohmiller's 28 inch walleye

In case you don't already know, we have a tab on our website called "what's new" and we update it every day.
So if you're interested in learning what the weather is like, what fish are being caught and the current "hot" lure, you may wish to check it out.  Click here to see what's new this week.  This picture is Kari Lohmiller (Crosslake, MN) with a beautiful 28 inch walleye caught in early July.

Biggest muskie, so far...

Tom Boldt's 48 1/2 inch muskie

Muskies are currently in transition from weeds to rock.  There have been numerous stories of the ones that "got away" or the fish followed up, but just wouldn't take the bait.  The biggest muskie caught so far this season is pictured here.  Guest Tom Boldt (Omaha, NE) caught this 48 1/2 inch; Duck Bay guide Rick has also caught a 48 1/2.

Fishing off the dock:

A number of muskies each year are caught right off the dock at Duck Bay. In fact, two years in a row, the biggest muskies of the season were caught off the dock - both in the low 50's.  So far this year the two biggest muskies caught off the dock are Anders Olson (Des Moines, IA) with a 41 1/2 and Earl Bosshardt (Waterville, MN) with a 38 inch.
