Sabaskong Bay has been outstanding for walleyes the past two weeks. Fishing off deep points has produced a lot of large females in the 22 - 29 inch range. Weeds have started to come in nicely and the northern pike have been holding to them in large packs.
A few colours of lures have been particularly effective. click here to

The Fish Are Biting!!

Our spring weather has been a little cool, but the fish are biting so nobody seems to mind!
Here are pictures of brothers Parker and Connor Kramlich (Hartland, WI) from their recent trip. Parker caught this beautiful 25 1/2 inch walleye. And brother Connor caught 24 northerns and 20 walleyes in one day. He is pictured with Grandpa Wayne Koch (Mequon, WI) holding his 30 inch northern.
These boys are really great fishermen. But that didn't stop them from wanting to learn more. Guide Bryan reports that Parker learned a new knot from him and mastered it in just two tries. And Connor learned the guide's secret technique to bait a jig for walleye fishing.
