Seth Weaver (Fort Myers, Florida) Seth was at Duck Bay in August with his grandfather Lowell. Lowell has been a guest at Duck Bay for over 15 years, but this was Seth's first trip. In fact it was his first time ever in Canada. He says he has never traveled north of Kentucky before. A native of Florida and an avid outdoorsman, Seth normally fishes for grouper, snook, permit, redfish and largemouth bass. He and his brother caught a goliath grouper that weighed in around 300 pounds and was released. Seth is also a hunter and hunts wild boars and catches alligators in the ponds of Florida. Seth had never before fished for our northern species of walleye, northern pike or muskie. He caught on pretty quick because the fish he got were terrific. Pictured above is his first walleye ever - 26 inches. And pictured below is his first muskie - 36 inches. Seth also caught a 36 inch northern pike during his trip. |
