On behalf of the HADC Board of Directors, the Hartford community and its many businesses, I want to express our sincere thanks to Patrice for her tireless efforts. Her contributions have been many and along with opportunities for land sales, Patrice helped the HADC Board of Directors take the organization in new directions. Highlights of her 2011 accomplishments, which can also be found in the HADC annual report, include:

-        Support of Hartford's industrial park business expansion with over 300,000 square feet added to existing buildings. Most prominent were projects at Signicast, Menasha Corp., PolyFirst Packaging, Mantz Automation, Hartford Finishing and TNT Stack Industries.

-        Expansion of consultative services provided by the HADC, most significantly the on-site support and leadership for Broan-NuTone LLC's successful ISO 9001:2008 Certification.

-        Facilitation of technology infrastructure upgrades for Hartford businesses and schools through development of expanded broadband options and capabilities.

Patrice also continued to nurture the strong partnerships between City of Hartford staff, the HADC and businesses across the entire community. She would be the first to say that the city leadership team has been instrumental in supporting business growth over the years.
