As a business, community and/or educational leader in Hartford, you are invited to attend the meeting as outlined below.  Thanks to Chairman Tennies and County Administrator Doug Johnson, holding the Board meetings in other communities is a great way to reach out to all the areas in Washington County vs. just in West Bend as has been done in the past.

Patrice , On August 9, 9am, the Washington County Board will hold its regular monthly meeting in the Council Chambers at Hartford City Hall. This is an initiative of Chr. Herb Tennies to bring county government to Hartford, placing value on the community connections even with the inherent logistical obstacles.

 

 

 

The Mayor and City Council are being encouraged to attend, as schedules allow. Because of your active role with EWDC and your great job touring our Executive Committee in December, Herb specifically asked that I make sure that you were aware of the August 9 plans.

 
Given that there is no specific Hartford city business on the County Board agenda, there is certainly no expectation that you will attend. The plan is for the meeting to be recorded and rebroadcast on Hartford cable TV (and other communities as well).
