The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Student Veterans of America (SVA) will be hosting a world class veterans hiring fair on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in conjunction with SVA's 2011 Leadership Summit. Leaders from SVA's 400 university chapters will be in attendance, providing your company with a unique opportunity to recruit from a distinguished group of veterans who are proven leaders in their communities.
 
If you would like to participate in the SVA-Hiring our Heroes event, please register on-line.  Registration for the hiring fair will be limited to 30 companies, and priority will be given to national and regional partners of the Chamber's Hiring our Heroes initiative. Employers that participate in the hiring fair must have nationwide job opportunities available and must provide feedback to the U.S. Chamber after the hiring fair on the number of applications received, number of veterans offered jobs, and most importantly, the number of veterans hired by your company.

In the coming year, the U.S. Chamber will host 100 hiring fairs with local chambers of commerce across the country with the only measure of success being jobs for the one million unemployed veterans in America.
