2011 CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS:
During the 2011 construction season the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is scheduled to do two projects within the City of Hartford:
· The larger project is the resurfacing and realignment of the intersection of Kettle Moraine Road and East Sumner Street (STH 60). This includes the placement of permanent traffic control signals and approximately one-quarter mile of roadway will be realigned and resurfaced. Also as part of the project, a small portion of Kettle Moraine Road from Gateway Avenue to East Sumner Street will be reconstructed. The project is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2011.
· The second project is the replacement of the North Johnson Street River Bridge over the Rubicon River which is located just west of City Hall. This bridge will be totally reconstructed and the project is expected to begin during the middle of 2011.
The City of Hartford has several projects scheduled for 2011:
· Water main replacement and resurfacing on Mueller Road between Birch Lane and Summit Street.
· Water main replacement and resurfacing of a portion of East Monroe Avenue between Wheelock Avenue and South Wilson Avenue.
