One example of Menasha design
A display for Wal-Mart that uses motion and action to launch two new SC Johnson Glade products: Sense & Spray, an automatic air freshener triggered by a motion sensor, and Lasting Impressions, a fan-powered air freshener that alternates daily between two scents. To attract and involve shoppers, the motion detector flashes light as shoppers pass and a rotating disk depicts the alternating scents. The action in the display reinforces the innovative actions of these new products, educates the customer and builds the Glade brand.
An E-flute, litho header hides the lighting unit for Sense & Spray and a small battery-powered motor that spins the Lasting Impressions graphic. The header's back flap flips up for ease of access and then fastens with Velcro. Simple text and graphics explain features and benefits.' The cabinet and dividers are flood-coated in Wal-Mart's signature blue. They frame the product, support the considerable weight and provide the maximum number of facings. The recyclable B and C flute creates a sturdy unit for the expected rapid sell-through and meets Wal-Mart's four-way specs.
