Hi again it seems like the months are just flying by as we are now into May and about to celebrate mothers day, we have a great offer for you for mothers day be sure to see our advertisement in store or call the salon for all the info. I am very sad this month because we are about to lose Sarah one of our senior stylists that has been with us forever, the big bad world is calling her and she's off overseas to try her hand at everything and anything, she wants to grab life and experience it first hand, we totally support her and wish her all the best and have a gr8 time. But good news also as we have a new staff member, Greg and also we have Jazmin returning after having her baby so its still a gr8 team with gr8 hairdressers. As you know Vanessa our Beauty Therapist is a very competitive woman and she is competing in an event on the weekend of the 15th of this month so we will wish her "positive thoughts and bring home the trophy" with a body like hers she is already a winner. I will be in the salon on Saturdays so if you need to make an appointment for me this is the day and just even pop in and say hello, as its nice to catch up, so until then take care and be kind to each other..

 Welcome Back Jazmin, after having her beautiful baby boy talan she is coming back to Lamonde to work all day thursday and night also Saturday. Jasmin will be available for bookings now and will commence employment on June 4th so book in early she is very popular especially with the special occasions hairstyles.

 Farewell Sarah Its time to say goodbye to our lovely dear Sarah, I will miss her very much she will also be missed by all the Team and also all her clients. Sarah has been such a loyal employee to Lamonde and such a great hairdresser and friend to me, which I always knew she would be. Sarah has decided to change career paths, she isn't sure as to which direction she is going but will head overseas on June 8 so we are hoping that she makes the most of it ..........Any career Sarah chooses she will do well at as she has always been keen to learn,

Managers Update Hi to all our awesome clients out there in newsletter land, firstly I want to thank everyone for all their well wishes for my recent wedding, I and my new husband had such a fantastic time in Bali with all our family and friends. There were a few injuries, a broken knee, a broken ankle and not to mention the massive cut on my foot as I hobbled down the aisle lol but all in all that's what you get riding mo-peds and playing silly buggers when we had too much wine and beer. The salon is going great guns this month, we are saying good-bye to our little Sarah at the end of this month, she is off to see what the big wide world has to offer her and we wish her all the best and hope she comes back to us when she is finished. We are also welcoming Ash back to the salon who is now getting back out on the floor and loving every minute of it. As for our special and we mean special little Aleica she has been doing an outstanding job as she completed Tafe, she actually won the final competition by a landslide with her portrayal of Circus De Soleil and is now looking to go on and do more catwalk work, we cant wait to see what she comes up with next. Kyle has been on hols and we have really missed him and glad to have him back this month, Global Keratin is still the talk of the town, we are having fantastic results and I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with their frizzy dry hair, also stay tuned for new affordable hair extensions to hit our salon, anyways that's all from me for now,

BOOT CAMP!
That's right, the team at La Monde will be attending a Boot Camp session at the Toukley RSL 31st May 2010.
In our pursuit of always offering the best in customer service and keeping up to date with techniques, training and innovation, the team will be hashing it out for a day in a MEGA brainstorming session!
This will be a day for staff to put their ideas forward, compete for awards and brush up on perfecting their service skills in order to continue on with our ELITE customer service & satisfaction!
FUN will of course be a major player of the day, with Lunch and snacks provided!
