Hi From Rechelle,
Hello again everyone just wanted to check in and and let you all know what's been happening here with my baby progress and also the business of hairdressing. Well I am eleven weeks into my pregnancy and the baby certainly has let me know that it is there with all the morning sickness and hormonal ups and downs I have not had a very good time of it, but I look forward to the end and just think about the little ray of sunshine I will have in my arms after all is said and done "its worth every minute of it", of course we are hoping for a son this time up as my husband is getting out numbered by us females at home. I would like to welcome Mrs Warrick (Linda) back from her honeymoon in Bali here is a lovely picturesoof her on her beautiful Wedding day, also I want to say to say a big welcome back to Ashlea she worked at the salon last year then had a break and now its full steam ahead for her you can catch her at the salon full time now, Its great to see her back, ok until next time take care.

Its Aleica here with some fab news, on the 29th March I graduated from
TAFE (YES!!!)
Our final assessment was to do a plan for special events, which meant basically we had all day to style our model, that included HAIR, MAKEUP, OUTFIT, THE WHOLE KIT & CABOODLE!
My theme for this assessment was Circ Du Soleil,and once styled, our models had to sashay down the runway showing off our works of art! It was a spectacular event and the hairdo's created were immaculate!
The assignment was judged at the end of the night by Industrial judges, when they came up for a closer look.
AND THE WINNER Is.....Aleica Pace from Lamonde hair face body, taking out 1st prize Industrial Award & 2nd prize for Long Hair Services!"
What a night I will never forget the feeling of complete achievement

Cindy's Report.
Just wanted to give an overview of my two weeks spent stepping into
the shoes of our manager's (whilst linda was off to bali to get married).I found the role to be both challenging & rewarding ! Although I have definitely experienced a little more insight into what's involved in the daily running's of a hair salon, a very BUSY one at that! I have learnt many techniques and have brushed up on skills which further enable me to competentlyhandle this role, and it was a fantastic feeling to know that I had the support of such a highly skilled andenthusiastic team of stylists to help me along the way!
The machine that is La Monde is a very well oiled one indeed, and we now look forward to expanding and bringing our expertise, style and AMAZING customer service to many more of you in the future!

Lamonde Birthday Celebrations  On Saturday the 17th of April the staff and friends celebrated Lamonde's 12th Birthday, we wanted a special place to celebrate so we chose the Bay Cafe at Toowoon Bay, and what a night! our taste buds went beserk with the fantastic food on the offer, it was sure hard to decide what to have the menu was alacarte and they also had a blackboard with all the fresh seafood,and the service was great, it was a great celebration for all involved. Thank you to Rechelle Mackay , she's the one that makes it all happen.
