HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY to Canterbury Bookstore!
The Bookstore is proud to have been at your service and the service of the Episcopal Christian Community for 20 years. Much is planned for the coming month. Come be a part of the celebration! 2013 Lesson Calendar, Ashby Calendars, Pocket Calendars and the Christian Planning Calendars are in stock. Pick yours up today.
Blessings and prayers before and after the meal are part of the earliest Christian tradition. Throughout the centuries, Christian communities, Christian families and individual Christians have always kept the lovely custom of reading a short passage from the Bible followed by a short prayer, usually called "grace," before sitting down to their daily meals. Available in the Canterbury Bookstore are wonderful resources for expanding this tradition in your home. A Blessing of the Table by Brother Victor-Antoine d'Avila-Latourrette is a book of mealtime prayers throughout the year (for classic prayers before meals or gatherings at the table).
There is something new in Canterbury Bookstore each week. New releases, new vendors and new displays and new ideas...come to the Bookstore and see what new things are in store for you.
Bookstore hours: Sunday 8:30-11:30 AM, Monday 10 AM-noon, Thursday 10 AM-3 PM, Friday 8:30 AM-noon
