This Week in the Park
   January 16 - January 20, 2012
  • Emergency sprinkler and storm systems continued throughout the garage. Electrical wiring installation is now complete. Select concrete touch ups continued, as well as the waterproofing of the garage roof.
  • Glass installation continued in the northwest elevator station and began in the southwest station. Installation of elevator equipment also began in both the southwest and northwest elevator stations.
  • Installation of pump room equipment continued, while storm system installation continued on 14th Street.
  • The installation of the domestic water main was completed and the waterproofing system installation for the expansion joint on Race Street also continued.
  • The removal of form structures from the concrete pours for the garage ramps continued.

Next Week in the Park
January 23 - January 27, 2012
  • The Sprinkler system, storm system, and steel tubing installation will continue throughout the garage, and the garage roof will continue to be waterproofed.
  • Equipment installation will continue in both elevator stations and waterproofing will continue in the northeast elevator station. Glass framing and installation will also continue in both elevator stations.
  • Select concrete area finishes and touch ups will continue.
  • Construction work on the concession buildings is set to begin.
  • The mulching will continue around the playground castle.
  • Fence installation will begin around the dog park.
  • The pump room equipment installation will continue.
  • Storm system piping installation will continue on Race Street, as will the prepping of the Elm Street ramp for concrete work.
  • The light pole and sandstone platform installation will continue in the south end of the park.
