This Week in the Park
  November 7 - November 11, 2011
  • In the garage, the rebar continued to be set up for the wall pours for the Race Street ramp. The northwest, southwest, and northeast elevator portals continued to be constructed. The stairs continued to be built in the northwest and southwest portals.  Waterproofing continued for the roof of the garage.  The electric, plumbing and sprinkler installation continued in the lower levels. 
  • The walls of the pump room continued to be constructed. 
  • The drywall installation for the ceiling in the restroom building continued.
  • The installation of the safety surface in the playground continued.
  • The porphyry installation surrounding the bandstand continued as well as the installation of the euro-sand for the joints of the porphyry.
  • The landscaping continued in the south portion of the park and the sod installation began.  The lime stone curb continued to be set along 12th Street.

Next Week in the Park
November 14 - November 18, 2011
  • The pouring of the garage ramp walls will be finished. Waterproofing the garage roof and double sided walls will continue. Back fill along on the south garage wall will continue. The construction of the southwest and northeast elevator portals will continue.
  • The build out of the pump room will continue.
  • The safety surface installation in the playground will be finished.
  • The porphyry installation surrounding the bandstand will continue.
  • In the south portion of the park, landscaping will continue and sod will continue to be placed.  The installation of the limestone wall along 12th Street will continue.
