This Week in the Park
  October 24 - October 29, 2011
  • The ninth garage roof pour was made this past week and rebar was set up for the last pour. Installation of fire protection on the first level of the garage continued. Began waterproofing the roof of the garage in the northwest corner. The southwest portal continued to be constructed and wall forms continued to be installed for both of the garage ramps. 
  • Walls were constructed for the pump room, located south of the garage.
  • Installation of the safety surface in the playground area continued.
  • The porphyry surrounding the bandstand continued to be installed as well as the euro-sand for the joints.The tivoli light poles around the bandstand were installed and the bandstand columns were restored.
  • In the south area of the park, landscaping continued and the lime stone curbs along Elm and 12th streets continued to be set.

Next Week in the Park
October 31 - November 4, 2011
  • Next week, the final garage roof pour will be made.  The walls for the garage ramps will continue to be constructed as well as the southwest elevator portal.  The waterproofing of the garage roof and the double sided walls will continue. Back fill along the south garage wall will continue.  
  • Build up of the pump room will continue. 
  • Safety surface installation in the bandstand will continue. 
  • The bandstand will be painted and porphyry installation will continue. 
  • In the south area of the park, landscaping will continue and the limestone walls along 12th Street will be set.
