Sounding Sessions: The Future of Washington Park
 

Please join Bill Donabedian of 3CDC and share your input about future programming in the newly renovated Washington Park. The evening will feature networking, as well as breakout sessions for brainstorming.  The space is limited, so sign up today! This Week in the Park
  September 26 - September 30, 2011
  • The sixth section for the garage roof was poured.  Continued to set up rebar and forms for other upcoming roof pours.  The conduit and plumbing installation was completed in the lower level of the garage.  Slab for the northwest elevator portal for the garage was poured.
  • Installation continued of insulation in the restroom building as well as electrical lines for media outlet. 
  • Porphyry installation continued around the bandstand. 
  • Curbs were poured in the playground.  The installation of the safety surface began. 
  • In the south area of the park, installation of under drains continued.  The prepping and grading for the planting beds also continued as well as installation of irrigation. The limestone walls along Elm Street were set in place.

Next Week in the Park
October 3 - October 7, 2011
  • Continue to tie rebar and install forms for garage roof pours. Continue to backfill along the south wall of the garage.  Waterproofing of the double sided walls continue.  Begin the masonry work in the lower levels.
  • Continue to install porphyry around the bandstand.
  • Finish the deck in the playground.
  • Prepare the turf in the dog park.
  • Continue to install drywall ceiling at the restroom building and begin to install the glass store front.
  • In the south area, continue to form and pour sidewalks as well as prep for the planting beds and sod.
