This Week in the Park
September 19 - September 23, 2011
- The fifth section of the garage's roof was poured this past week. Rebar and forms were installed to prepare for upcoming pours. In the lower levels of the garage, plumbing and conduit installation continued and fire protection installation began. The installation for the foundation of the Race Street ramp began. Back-fill continued at the southwest wall of the garage as well as waterproofing installation.
- Under drains were installed in the south area of the park and irrigation installation continued. The south end was prepped for the planting beds to be installed.
- Electrical lines for media outlets were installed in the restroom building.
- Porphyry installation around the bandstand continued.
- Sidewalks were poured around the restroom building and the playground area.

Next Week in the Park
September 26 - September 30, 2011
- Rebar and form installation will continue for the garage roof pours. Plumbing and electrical work will continue through the lower levels of the garage and masonry work will begin. The back-fill of the south garage wall will continue as well as the waterproofing installation.
- The drywall ceiling in the restroom building will be installed along with the glass storefront.
- In the south end, sidewalks will continue to be formed and poured. Irrigation will continue as well as the prepping for sod installation.
- The turf in the dog park will be prepared to install and the installation of the safety surface in the playground will begin.
