This Week in the Park February 14 - 18, 2011
- Completed tie-back installation along entire perimeter of retaining wall
- Began final stages of lagging board installation to 30 feet deep (bottom of hole)
- Continued mass excavation throughout the site
- Began preparing the site to begin auger cast pile installation at 30 feet deep - required for garage foundation work
- Removed and transported perimeter limestone walls for restoration
- Removed historic entry columns near 13th Street for restoration
- Delivered drywell casings and materials to the site to begin drywell drilling and installation
- Began removal and restoration of perimeter limestone wall along Race Street

Next Week in the Park
February 21 - 25, 2011
- Continue 2nd lift of mass excavation to 30 feel deep (final depth)
- Continue lagging board installation to final depth elevation
- Deliver drywell drilling equipment and crane to south end of site - begin installation weather permitting
- Continue removal of perimeter limestone wall for restoration
- Begin auger cast pile installation starting with test piles on the west side near Music Hall
- After test pile installation - begin placing auger cast piles at the Elm St. garage entrance ramp
