This Week in the Park
  February 7 - 11, 2011

  • Drilled and installed tie-backs on retention walls along Race Street
  • Continued lagging board installation to tie-back elevation along Race Street
  • Continued mass excavation in the middle of the garage area and along the northern and eastern perimeter walls
  • Completed construction access road to the bottom level of the garage (30 feet deep)
  • Continued survey and general layout on south side of park
  • Capped existing utilities in the south end of the park
  • Began removal and restoration of historic columns in the south end of the park
  • Began removal and restoration of perimeter limestone wall along Race Street

Next Week in the Park
February 14 - 18, 2011

  • Finalize drilling and installing tie-backs on retention walls along Race Street
  • Continue lagging board installation to tie-back elevation along Race Street
  • Continue 2nd lift of mass excavation to 30 feet deep (final depth)
  • Haul off mass excavation dirt (weather permitting)
  • Continue layout and survey at south end of the park
