This Week in the Park
January 3 - 7, 2010
- Finished all the H-piles, the supports for the garage's retaining wall
- Began installing the tie-backs which help hold the retaining wall in place
- Continued with the mass excavation
- Moved the south side of the fence to 12th street leaving a portion of the south end of the park still open
- Began tree work on the south side of the park
- General Surveying and layout on the south side of the park

Next Week in the Park
January 10 - 14, 2010
- Continue drilling and installing tie-backs on retention walls at Elm Street Ramp and 1-line
- Continue lagging board installation to tie-back elevation along 1-line and A-line working eastward
- Mass excavation at south end of garage (E-line) working west to east
- Haul off mass excavation soils
- Finish up Tree removal in south side of Park
- Asphalt path removal in south side of park
- Begin installation of temporary electric service to the site
