Greetings!

There is always something exciting going on at Moore; exciting changes all meant to benefit you.

Moore Darien is about to get a whole new look with walls coming down to make more room for physical therapy, and personal training moving in to keep you  healthy & active.  We've already heard from a few clients who are excited to get started when that first training session becomes available.

You may not recognize the space when it is done, but you are sure to love it and enjoy your experience with us even more.  Now a discharge from physical therapy doesn't have to mean goodbye, it could mean a chance to stay on with us and keep your fitness routine going strong and safely, with your therapy team nearby.  Wilton clients have been doing it, now Darien will too!

Don't Brace Yourself For The Next Storm

By Melissa Walsh, MSPT at Moore

As we all know this has been a brutal winter for Connecticut and beyond, with multiple ice storms and some areas receiving as much as 50-60 inches of snow. Unfortunately along with all this snow and ice comes injury.  One of the more common injuries we've seen this winter is wrist fractures.  Emergency rooms report being very busy with the increased prevalence of wrist fractures. When we slip or fall, an automatic reaction is to put out our hand to break our fall, but often times this results in a wrist fracture.

But the good news is you can recover easily from these impairments with physical therapy and function can be restored much quicker.

A New Moore Wilton!

If you've been away for a few weeks, there are some exciting changes in Wilton!  All Personal Training and Fitness Classes are now being held in the 3,000 sq ft gym and the clients love it!  More room for Paul, JP, Josh, Bonni and Kally means added exercises and more room to run!  The Physical Therapy space is now spread out through the whole main clinic and the feedback is great.
