Don't Get Side-Lined This Summer!
It happens to so many. You want to get the most out of your summer because it always goes by too fast. You love to run, play tennis, and walk your dog. You keep at it eventhough you have pain in your shoulder or your hamstring. Your feeling back pain but you continue to make those tee times. The thought of taking time to get into your doctor, then finally make your way to physical therapy is not appealing - you want to be out enjoying every day.
Well, you can cut out one step by coming directly to us to start feeling better sooner. CT and NY do not require that you get a referral from your physician to start physical therapy.
So before you push yourself too far and end up 'side-lined' for the rest of the summer, make an appointment and come in. We'll keep you out there doing the things that make summer the best. August is THE BEST time to do this because so many people are away. You can get your pick of times and days so you don't miss a summer beat.

Drinking Too Many Calories?
What most people don't know is that it's a lot easier to drink extra calories than to eat it. So you really need to pay attention to what you're sipping on.
Recent studies are reporting that most of us drink 21 percent of our daily calories. That adds up to an average of 460 calories each day. It's easy to see how these calories quickly add up into unwanted pounds.
Pay extra attention to what you drink throughout each day. Make it a habit to pass on the calorie-packed drinks and to focus on drinking lots of water.
Remember that small changes to your lifestyle over time will make the difference.
We're always available to help!
P.S. Re-read Hydration for Athletes on our website. Pre-season is right around the corner and it's HOT in August! |
