Our new location will be: 6911 216th St SW, Suite A, Lynnwood WA 98036We'll be open at our current location (4210 196th St SW, Lynnwood WA 98036) until the end of October, so please still visit us there for all purchases, machine repairs and equipment advice.

Ask the Experts Q. I descaled my Saeco or Solis superautomatic, but the descale light is still on. What should I do?
A. We regularly receive calls from folks that have this issue and it's really quite simple to fix: Have a little patience, baby!
The descale cycle on these machines can sometimes run up to about 30 minutes, and if it's gone through a full reservoir and seems like it's just sitting there doing nothing, but the light is still on, it is not finished. Refill the reservoir and let it complete its cycle.
At the tail end of the descale, it will reset the cup count and the descale warning light; if you don't allow it to fully complete, neither of these will be reset and it will still prompt you to descale.
If you have mistakenly ended the cycle too soon and need to reset the light, the only way to do that is to run a full descale cycle again.
