All alumni are encouraged to bring a gently used business suit or business attire item to donate to the UAHuntsville Career Development Center's Suit Closet.  The Suit Closet was developed to assist UAHuntsville students who may not have the means to acquire clothing appropriate for job interviews, the Career Fair, or career networking.  It's a great opportunity to clean out your closets for spring and contribute to a great cause at your alma mater.

Today's Chargers:  A Student Perspective Morgan Chamberlain

Name:  Morgan Chamberlain

Major:  Civil Engineering

Why did you decide to attend UAHuntsville?

Honestly, it was a well-ranked school and I received ample academic scholarships:  The Presidential Award, the Lockheed Martin scholarship, and the James Hays scholarship.

What is your most memorable UAHuntsville experience thus far?

It was the middle of exams my second or third year, and my friends and I were tired of studying.  So on a particularly beautiful day we got away from the dorms and hung out around the pond, going for walks and putting our feet in the water.

What do you plan to do with your degree and experience?  What will you take away from UAHuntsville?

I am interested in transportation-related engineering projects, particularly those which would be environmentally friendly and cost-effective.  I will walk away from this school with an appreciation for the research opportunities and the personal interactions I had which may not have been available to me at a larger university.  I enjoyed the ability to walk around anywhere on campus and spot someone I know.
