| The Joy of Sports Camp
I am thrilled to share with you what happened during the Sports Camp outreach during the week of June 21 - 25. The morning camp ministered to 82 kids and 13 of those made first time decisions to follow Jesus! The afternoon camp in the Canal area had 156 kids (triple from last year) with 18 first time decisions for Christ.
Join me in thanking God for his work during this time and for his grace calling these kids to himself. Let's also pray that these children would be connected to a church and nurtured in their faith.
Each of the 5 days of camp kids (aged 4-11) were coached in either soccer, basketball, or cheerleading. There were also times for singing, small group Bible lessons and a snack. It is a joy to partner with Valley Baptist Church, Lucas Valley Church, and Marin Covenant for this outstanding venture.

Family Camp is coming on Labor Day. Please save the dates of September 3-6, 2010. We'll travel to Mount Hermon near Santa Cruz and spend quality and quantity time with your family and friends from TBC. Everyone is encouraged to come. Perhaps it would make a wonderful finale to your summer to be refreshed through play, worship, Bible teaching, and significant fellowship. Speakers are the well known John and Nancy Ortberg. The camp has childcare options for babies and toddlers and lots of classes and activities for older kids and teens at the same time as adult sessions happen. There are also large blocks of time for parents to be with their kids too. More info is coming soon.

| Youth Mission Trip Overview
During the last week of June, the youth mission team served at the Center for Student Mission (For more info see: www.csm.org) in Oakland. CSM kept our team busy praying for, learning about, volunteering in, and ministering to Oakland and San Francisco. Feel free to stop any of our team members and ask them about the trip. The team included: Mary Beth Andecover, Dasia Caridad, Meredith Church, Stephen Church, Jordan Fort, Tyler Fort, Dan McLennon, Maureen McLennon, Ryan Pozivenec, Megan Prescott, and Reed Redus. | Summer Stock Choir
During the summer, when many are taking vacations, we initiate Summer Stock Choir. Anyone who would like to sing with us, please come 20 minutes before the service and practice downstairs with the choir. We usually do things the choir is familiar with or easy enough to put together quickly. We would love to have those of you who like to sing to join us. Summer Stock Choir lasts through Labor Day weekend. Come any Sunday you can and join with us! |

We move into that time of year when we call out people from our membership to serve our church and our Lord as deacons. Please begin praying about those people who will become responsible for the spiritual health and well-being of our church family.
