HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As we begin a new year, it is our prayer that you will experience the blessing of God and in turn be a blessing to those around you. We hope you will be sensitive to those who often may go overlooked or unnoticed. Look for those around you that may be hurting. It may be someone in your office that you've never gone to lunch with, a neighbor that you have not met yet, or someone that the Lord simply lays on your heart. Begin to pray for the people in your circle of influence. You are called to be salt and light in a world that is both in need of flavor and mired in darkness. Look for opportunities to be the hands and feet of God as you literally carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to someone that desperately needs some truly good news.
Vision Trip
We would ask that you pray for Pastor John, Pastor Glenn, Lenora and Pastor Brice as they participate in our vision trip to renew the covenant focusing on our unreached people group. John, Glenn and Lenora left on Jan 4 and Brice will leave to join the team on Jan 11. The team will connect with D & L and have an opportunity to minister to many of the team members in the area. All of us will return on Jan 21. We ask that you make a commitment to pray each day while the team is on the road. Our TBC prayer coordinator for the trip is Nenita Anderson and prayer sign-up is in the Gallery. You will have various opportunities to support us in prayer while we are gone.

While we are gone, Brice preaches on Jan 10 and Reed will preach on Jan 17. Pastoral care will be taken care of by a team that will include Pastor Brice (Jan 4-10), Pastor Reed, Phil Conner, Jerry Stubblefield, and all of our deacons. If you have a need during regular business hours, call Ida at the church. If it is after hours, call Pastor Reed.

Wisdom

"Love one another and you will be happy. It's as simple and as difficult as that."
Michael Luenig
Word of Encouragement

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not   crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."  II Corinthians 4:7-9
