It has been and written by many great scholars and spiritual teachers that there is only Love, One Consciousness, One Mind, One Reality - the reality of God / Goddess. And that everything perceived or thought to be experienced outside of this One Consciousness is an illusion, a mistaken identity, a place where separation is always defended and guarded against.
To open more fully to the idea that Love is all there is would surely challenge what we have learned to be true about this world and our place in it. Yet if we travel for just a moment to place of Love Consciousness within us, the only thing we would experience is our own innocence, or discover the answers to our own questions, or simply come to the understanding that we are just beautiful the way we are. No need to change . . . nothing to fix . . . nothing to explain . . .
It is very much an upside down way of seeing and knowing the world we live in. But wouldn't it be a more peaceful way to live and be in relationship with ourSelves and others?
In the realm of Divine Consciousness, beautiful is the drunkard! Wonderful is the homeless! Whole is the sick! Healed is the prostitute! Glorious is the murderer! Rich is the poor! Pure is the profane! Peaceful is the war zone! Joy is the tears a mother cries. Tender is the grief in a father's heart. Life is the child's passing.
Our mistakes are not mistakes. Our bad decisions and wrongful choices are not bad and wrong. Addictions, financial ruins, disease, a fearful future, a painful divorce, is never what it seems. Not to this wonder-filled Universe. Not to the One whom breathed Life into all things. Not to the One who cannot see our self inflicted ideas of separation and need for defense.
This One Consciousness, One Reality, One Loving Being sees only Himself / Herself in us . . . . Love. Though it be an inspiring thought, how in the world is that thought alone suppose to pay our bills, fix our relationships, or heal our diseases?
All that any of us can trust is the "knowing" that the path to freedom, freedom from anything burdensome, goes directly through our own hearts, the place where Love lives. It is the mind and all of it's chatter that we must quiet. It is a brave journey to take indeed! Some would call it "crazy", "irresponsible", and "selfish".
But oh my . . . . if only they could only recognize the value of traveling with us . . .
The only place to ever look for love is within. And when the road blocks come, and they will come, it is okay. Wait. Take a rest. Trust. Trust in that which is timeless, beyond this world, and greater than yourself. We made the world we live, but we did not make ourselves. Miracles are born from Love. And we are Love when we do the work of Love.
Wishing you all good things . . . .
