A Note of Love
encouraging words throughout your week

You do not walk alone.  God's angels hover near and all about.  His Love surrounds you, and of this be sure; that I will never leave you comfortless.

~ A Course In Miracles, pg 488

It only takes a little bit of willingness to see how divinely guided you are.  Though there may be confusion, worry, or uncertainty, you are being led to a better place.  To resist, you will slow the process down.  To be at ease, troubles will gently pass you by like a lazy river.

Look behind you.  Look to the days that have come before this one.  Was there not a word of encouragement spoken just  when you needed it the most?  Was someone not present in your life to offer you peace  when you were distraught?  In the end, did things not turn out for the best?  Look again.  Find the traces of evidence that proves divine guidance.  Nothing is by accident, you know?

Angels are surely among us.  Sometimes they come in the form of an animal, sometimes a stranger, and yes, sometimes in the form of an enemy.  Even our adversaries are our greatest teachers.  They love us the most.  How could they not?  To take the role and to play the part of "villain" in our lives so that we may truly understand forgiveness, drop our defenses, and melt away the walls around our hearts . . . what a radical and absurd thought!

But what if?  What if it were true?  What if every heartache, every disappointment, every person who has ever displayed cruelty towards us was actually the point at which our consciousness was / is reborn?

And what if the whole point to being comforted and guided was to know that this is so?  Is that the purpose of comfort and the meaning of "Gods angels hover near and all about us"?  What if . . . .

Blessings to you, friend!
