Home = 520.505.6560; Cell = 520.576.4173 EMAIL: jos_kel@rocketmail.com TIME: 2PM The University Museum is one of those spots of which many seem to have heard, but not too many I have asked have ever been there. In addition to three current temporary exhibits , the museum is the home to a renowned collection of unique art from the 15-century. "The 26 panels from the Altarpiece of Ciudad Rodrigo comprise one of the most important groups of paintings produced in late 15th-century Spain by the artists Fernando Gallego and Master Bartolomé..." Admission to the museum for adults is $5. Closest parking is in the parking garage on Park just north of Speedway. NOTE: Campus parking garages are free on the weekends and I have timed this so that it is before students have returned for fall classes. Here is a link to a map of the campus . Parking is #116. Museum of Art is #2. Here is a Google Maps link showing directions from Miss Saigon to the parking garage on Park @ Speedway. HAVE A GREAT DAY. JOSEPH |
