| When I asked for suggestions, this popped up. The new "in" spot downtown offers meats, sandwiches, vegetarian options, and ice cream. The reviews look great and parking shouldn't be too bad on a Sunday night, so let's give this a good try. www.yelp.com/biz/hub-restaurant-and-creamery-tucson-2 www.hubdowntown.com/ |

| I first saw this movie a few weeks ago and was amazed to find a well made, very human, gay-themed "dramedy." "Goran and Sven have been cleared for adoption and they have a possibility to adopt a Swedish orphan, Patrik 1,5. But when Patrik arrives he turns out to be someone else, not the little boy they were expecting. A comma had been misplaced, and in comes a 15-year-old homophobic with a criminal past." The premise may not impress you, but this is a serious film on gay life in upper middle class Sweden with a mixture of bitter truth and a light touch. I loved this film and think you will, too. Let's keep our Tuesday Night tradition going! www.imdb.com/title/tt1067733/ (Much thanks to Bill and Darrin for hosting the past several months - we will look forward to their return when the snow gets too deep once again!!!! HUGS TO YOU GUYS!!!) We are showing the Tuesday Movies at the Far Horizons East Clubhouse, much thanks to Alan Herman. |

| As far as I know, El Torrero is Tucson's only gay owned Mexican restaurant and it STILL holds the record as our best attended Sunday dinner. It was last scheduled on Superbowl Sunday--and it was closed, so let's give it another try. This place is fun.
