Hey, don't forget, this Saturday is the first Saturday of the NEW MONTH -- and it is time for our regular Monthly Pot Luck and Social.
Theme is Spring Into Summer!!
Put your favorite dish together to share -- our monthly Pot Luck is a great way to start your month with nice guys, great food and a night of socializing. It's also a safe and friendly atmosphere in which to meet new men and make new friends. Just bring your favorite food item to share with others. If your're not a cook, check out your favorite restaurant or grocery store for an appealing item. (Suggestion: Furr's and Golden Corral both offer "carry out" by the pound -- a quick way of putting a dish to share together!! Of course there is always the good old favorites - KFC or Church's, too.) We encourage people to bring main dishes. Examples of favorites: ham, turkey, lasagna, enchiladas, pizza, various potato or rice dishes and any sort of beef. Naturally vegi dishes for our Vegan brothers is alway in order. Store bought breads and potato salads don't go over very well. Cakes, pies and ice cream are always dessert favorites. To help cover the cost of the hall, we request a small donation of at least $2.00 per person. Also, if anyone is interested in helping set up, clean up or helping the Kitchen Krew -- we very much appreciate your volunteering -- all good excercise and another way of meeting other great volunteers. |
