Our appreciation of Hope volunteers is unending - like your dedication to our work.

However, a special week is designated each year to specifically recognize and honor you, the dedicated, loving people who help others in so many special ways - in the home, in our care centers and in our offices. National Volunteer Week is April 15 through 21.

Have you ever been asked, "Why do you volunteer for Hope?"  Often, the person asking the question may have the notion that volunteering for Hope is exactly the opposite of what we know it to be.

Over the years, thousands of volunteers have described their experience in much the same way: rewarding; fulfilling; enjoyable; fun. Even our student volunteers have said they get as much out of volunteering as they put into it.

In the past year, Hope volunteers have generously given more time in the care and support of others than ever before. Our community is quite fortunate.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical

Meet some of the residents of a trailer park called "Armadillo Acres". Norbert and Jeannie have been married for 20 years, and there's no electricity left in their relationship, a situation enhanced by Jeannie's agoraphobia, in which she refuses to leave their trailer.
