This year, we are giving Hope to the community in a very special way.
We have begun distribution of 10,000 copies of the Five Wishes booklet - our "50,000 wishes for Hope" project.
The Five Wishes booklet helps you plan for your future healthcare needs and informs your family of your choices in the event you become unable to speak for yourself.
We hope that you are already among the thousands of people in our community who have received and completed the booklet. If not, please request a copy at www.HopeHCS.org/FiveWishes, or call your volunteer specialist. You may request copies for your family and friends, as well.
Your completed copy of Five Wishes will be an invaluable gift for your family.

| Batter Up! Concession Stand Help Needed | 
It's that time of year! For the 6th season in a row, we are looking for volunteers to help at the Twins Game's Concession Stand! Proceeds benefit Hope.
We need managers, cooks, preps, cashiers and runners.
The games run from March 3 to April 4. We will have a Batter Up Party for participating volunteers on February 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Rooms of the Fort Myers office. You'll receive your shirts, hats and lots of information about how the stand works.

Ring-a-Ling! Callers Needed in All Areas Callers needed at all offices to contact home patients to check on their comfort level and needs. Call your volunteer specialist for more information.
Sewing Opportunities
Lap robes are needed for Hope Honor Guard presentations to our Veterans. Contact Jean Best.
Artistic Volunteers
There are openings for art activities volunteers at Hospice House Cape Coral. Ask Nina Tomasello for more details.
Cookie Bakers
We have a new cookie oven at Hospice House Cape Coral. Volunteers will be instructed on how to bake with the prepared dough. If you want to help, contact Nina Tomasello.
PACE Centers
New Volunteer opportunities are available at the Hope PACE Centers. There are a variety of activities that volunteers may assist with, including front desk reception and pet visitation. You may choose to volunteer at the PACE Center that is closest to you: central Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, or Lehigh Acres. A PACE Center in North Naples will also be coming soon. Contact Joan Wyckoff to volunteer.
Hope Parkinson Program
Volunteers are needed to check in on participants and assist with classes the second Friday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Contact Joan Wyckoff to volunteer.
General Help in Lakeland and Winter Haven
Volunteer opportunities are available at our Lakeland and Winter Haven offices. Please contact Amy Arnold.

 Too Much Acetaminophen Can Destroy Your Liver
More than 600 over-the-counter and prescription medicines contain the active ingredient acetaminophen. It's safe and effective when you follow the label information. But you risk severe liver damage if you take:
- More acetaminophen than directed
- More than one medicine containing acetaminophen
- 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using acetaminophen
For more information, ask your pharmacist, doctor, or nurse.

Come watch the story of a mysterious Scottish Village that appears one day every 100 years. Two American tourists, lost in the Scottish Highlands, stumble upon the village just as a wedding is about to be celebrated, and their arrival has serious implications for the village's inhabitants.

The Great American Trailer Park Musical
Meet some of the residents of a trailer park called "Armadillo Acres". Norbert and Jeannie have been married for 20 years, and there's no electricity left in their relationship, a situation enhanced by Jeannie's agoraphobia, in which she refuses to leave their trailer.
