Starkey Books2010 is a "New World". Those of us who have continued to thrive know that it's only through reaching out in relationship, that we have continued to grow. Starkey has accepted new partnerships with those high-end service businesses and professionals making a difference in our world. I just delivered a four hour seminar "Organizing for the High Net Worth" for the National Association for Professional Organizers (NAPO.net).  It was a wonderful experience of collaborating with a very smart group of professionals in an adjunct service industry.  We plan to coordinate by identifying and training 15 Starkey Elite Organizers around the US to help provide special project work with our employers and Certified Household Manager's.  Another of our new partnerships is Clay Malloy of BellaCura; offering specialized concierge medical care. BellaCura sends nursing support to you when your health care comes first, as you are traveling or at home, wherever you are. Contact Clay Malloy clay@mybellacura.com for more information. More on new partnerships to come!
  
Restoring the ArtRestoring the Art was again fabulous.  This yearly event is especially designed for Starkey Graduates, those wanting Starkey education, our clients and their Family Offices.  In addition to the wisdom brought to us by Dr. Lloyd Lewan former President of Semester at Sea, this year's highlights were Ms. Michelle Magruder with her expert knowledge and sound HR labor laws for Private Service.  Mr. Smith our Director of Placement brought us Conflict Resolution expertise, Lucia Miltenberger wowed everyone with her new aperitifs just before dinner on Friday night at the Mansion.  As we are small and intimate, everyone departed feeling like we had new and lifelong friends.  Thank you RTA!  
 
Starkey ClassAdmissions and Placement:  We currently have both a four-week and an eight-week Household Management Certification class here at the Mansion.  We have a full mansion and with it we will soon have several, high-caliber Certified Household Managers ready for placement.  Starkey typically has approximately 25-30 potential employers that we use our state-of-the-art evaluation tools in making our long lasting matches.   Starkey has the historic challenge that we rarely get our Graduates back for re-placement, as most are still with the original employers.  This can make it sometimes difficult to meet the great demand for our certified graduates.  Starkey also has maintained an unbelievable ½ of 1% default rates with our Graduate's student loans.  It's because Starkey's education and placement practices work! We are very proud of these statistics.
