Greetings!
The Market is STILL in flux The past year has taught me a lot! Home owners and home buyers face all kinds of difficulties in the housing market. As more and more sellers in distress throw in the towel or try to minimize the damage by doing a short-sale, their lien holders are trying to streamline the process. The lien holders all have different processes, and some are trying to improve. Most are understaffed so the process still takes WAY too long. But for the most part, buyers who are patient are rewarded with some great bargains! Investors are taking advantage of the low interest rates and building their portfolios by purchasing homes for rental properties There is a lot of uncertainty today in the financial world but people are always going to need somewhere to live. By investing in real estate now, investors are positioning themselves in a good place because interest rates won't always be this low and pricing is at 2002-4 lows.
I'm happy to help if you know someone interested in taking advantage of this market. They can expect solid advice and representation backed up with years of experience. I appreciate all your referrals!

Home Maintenance A local home inspector, Keith Holsinger, (www.wpiercecounty.pillartopost) wrote an article recently about water damage that I thought might be useful to you especially since it can affect a homes value if not caught and remedied.
Water damage can come from a variety of sources: storms, flooding, broken water pipes and lines, leaking washing machines, and more. This can lead to mold and odor problems, and worse. If left unmitigated, water damage can eventually cause structural damage, which can entail significant costs to repair and can even affect a home's value. Read more
