As Miami matures into a greater destination for wine and food, new opportunities continue to present themselves for lovers of all things culinary.
And so, it is with great pleasure that we are pleased to promote this October's Miami Culinary Food & Wine Experience, presented by one of South Florida's finest and most innovative wine wholesalers, Selected Brands!
Over four days, next month, our city will become the destination for lovers of food and wine to explore unique and extraordinary experiences focused on food and wine pairings with a wide range of Miami chefs, sommeliers and world famous wine estates.
On Saturday and Sunday, October 15th and 16th, at the brand new Miami Dade Miami Culinary Institute, ten seminars will be offered featuring local chefs and sommeliers cooking, pouring, and discussing the latest trends in food and wine pairings. Here's a preview of some of the classes:
Seven Kitchens:
Indulge in the spirit of culinary masterpieces and fine wine pairings as you experience, in an intimate setting, how the best local chefs and sommeliers see the world. Each tasting will take place in one of the many state of the art kitchens at Miami Culinary Institute. Take your pick of cuisine and wine from around the world as each kitchen will host a different style and culture than the next.
The Culinary Theater:
From Sancerre to Sake, explore a wide world of food and wine in Miami Culinary Institute's professional Culinary Theater. You will have the option to explore sake with producers from Japan and authentic cuisine, paired to perfection. Explore France and Italy with delicious creations from across Europe. Delve into the science behind food and wine interactions with ZING!, an in-depth methodical demonstration that shows the chemistry in the glass and on the plate.
Tokyo Modern:
Experience sake in our café just like you are in Tokyo where you can partake in flights of Japanese sake paired with fresh sushi and sashimi. Experts will be on hand to guide you through this tantalizing world of eastern culinary lifestyle
