Good luck to the members of the Academic Team. They compete in the Gwinnett County Championships, tomorrow, September 22 @ BHS. The team hopes to reclaim the title of county champs (which it held for the previous 14 years!) after a close 2nd place finish to Norcross last year.

It's not too late for students to join the Outdoor Club by going online & using group code yfd9ki. The group is rafting in Sept. & camping in Oct. Students may see Ms. Settles in C8 or Mr. Farrell in B13 with questions.

The Fencing Club competes in its first tournament this weekend. It's not too late to join the Fencing Club. It meets on Mondays in the Fellowship Hall of Cannon United Methodist Church, 2:30-4:00 p.m. More info.

Students can enter the PTA Reflections contest by submitting original works in dance, photography, film & more. This year's theme is "The Magic of a Moment." The contest runs through October 18. Entry forms & rules.

Students may "park for a day" on campus by going to A36 and purchasing a $3 "park for a day" pass. 24 hour notice needed.

Congrats to the boys & girls cross country teams. They swept the Carrollton Invitational last weekend. The teams compete tomorrow, Sept. 22, in the Gwinnett Co. Championships @ the River Green XC Complex in Duluth. Races begin @ 8:00 a.m. Directions.

Shaun McGee is the Atlanta Touchdown Club's Lineman of the Week for his performance in the Broncos come-from-behind win over Archer.

Coming soon, the Great CAN Challenge vs Parkview. The schools will compete to fill food bank shelves leading up to the football game on September 28.
