Orientation Day
| | You'll see lots of facility upgrades on Orientation Day. Just one example, students will enjoy more green space once occupied by trailers. |
Paperwork and contributions will be handled online this year. Log on prior to Orientation Day.
Orientation Day is August 2. Rising 10th, 11th, & 12th graders report 8:30-11:30 a.m. Rising 9th graders report 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
What happens on Orientation Day?
- Find your Guided Study location by checking rosters located near school entrances. Proceed to your Guided Study class to pick up your class schedule, turn in your clinic card & receive a locker assignment.
- Check your bus route in the Commons Area.
- Join the PTSA at the PTSA table in the Commons Area & sign up for parent volunteer opportunities at Brookwood. If you joined online, bring your receipt from MyPaymentsPlus.
- Pick up school supply lists posted outside each classroom.
- Purchase shorts & shirts for PE classes in the Commons.
- Visit the school store (B3) for spirit wear.

Extra help for freshmen & those new to Brookwood, Saturday, August 4, 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Maroon Gym Lobby. Bring your class schedule to practice walking from class to class & working lockers. Upperclassman Peer Leaders will be on hand to help.

You'll want to see the Broncos take on the Walton Raiders, the new marching band show, the cheerleaders, managers & fans. $12 tickets go on sale at the Field House & during all lunches after the first day of school. $15 tickets are available at the Dome on Game Day. Complete football schedule.

September 10, 6:45 p.m. Don't miss this once-a-year opportunity to walk your student's schedule, meet your student's teachers, and see presentations on what they are learning in class.

12th grade parent night, August 30, 7:00 p.m. in the Theatre. Topics include: college entrance tests, financial aid, the application process & more. A rep from the Ga. Student Finance Commission will be on hand to discuss the HOPE scholarship.
