On the Move
|
 The new moveable hoop house we built last season is standing on new ground this week. After some careful thinking, and team effort the impressive structure glided smoothly into place. Two tractors anchored at one end of the structure pulled the hoop house along its tracks for the initial budge, then guided by helping hands it rolled into place at it's new home. This summer you will find paste tomatoes growing inside!

HERBS - Easy Share Duty Option - Watering & Weeding
We are looking for twenty individuals who would like to fulfill their share duty time by helping to care for the herb beds in front of the greenhouse.
For one month: one day a week (i.e. at most four times)
- Set up a sprinkler for 15 minute sweeps of eight beds at a time, and relocate it two times;
- Weed the aisles and the beds for a few minutes while you are there.
Most people find they can do this during the time of their food share pick-up.
Bonus: If it rains the day before or on the day of your pick-up, you get your day duty-free!
Tools and gloves will be available, along with hose and sprinkler.
Months available are May through October.
If interested, call or email Susan Curry: 215-591-1551, suscurry@comcast.net. Leave your name, phone and email address, indicate your pick-up day, and preferred month. Susan will get back to you.
