An Important Penn State CSA Survey
Please Participate
You are receiving this request to participate in a study being led by The Pennsylvania State University; this study seeks to exam the likes and dislikes of CSA members. Pennypack Farm has agreed to distribute this letter on our behalf, and the farm and its members will be part of the study.  The purpose of this study is to gather basic information about the CSA characteristics that are important to your decision to participate in a CSA. The survey has several intended benefits for both members and the CSA farmers, including the identification of: (1) the most important factors in a decision to join a CSA; (2) different types of CSA plans which may be appealing to potential members; and (3) identification of areas for improvement in the operation of CSAs and their interaction with members.

The survey is being implemented with 6-12 CSA farms in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. We hope that you will participate in this study so that farmers and members can both learn about the characteristics of a CSA that create a successful relationship between farm and members.

The survey is being administered online and may be reached at https://web.survey.psu.edu/csastudy/
The first form you will see is a standard consent form for the study. Please read that and click continue to consent to the study.
