garlic scape
Now that the season has started, you might be wondering "What is a garlic scape and what do I do with it?"  Or maybe, "I need a new recipe for kale."

A terrific collection of recipes can be found at the Mariquita Farms website.  Mariquita Farms is a CSA in Watsonville, CA.  Their recipe pages contain pictures, descriptions and some photo essays for a variety of vegetables and fruit.

Try Roasted Garlic Scapes or Giant Crusty and Creamy White Beans with Greens using veggies from this week's share.
